Sacramento Boy Scout Troop 8 has been in service since 1927.
Our current Charter Organization is the Capitol Lions Club. Troop 8 has joined the Capitol Lions Club in supporting the Downtown Chinese Cultural Fair and collects used eyeglasses on behalf of the Lions Club. The troop conducts annual food drives in November/December to collect food, coats, blankets, diapers, and used eyeglasses for the community. In addition to the food drives, Troop 8 scouts have been active in many community service projects in Sacramento. We like camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
Previous sponsors have included the Knights of Columbus #953 and others.
